Flesh Ended Handed in to Publisher

Hi all,

Late last night I handed FLESH ENDED to Dark Quest Books. The book had just been read by two of my early readers and both did some extra proofreading for me. I am happy to say both readers were pleased; one loved it the other gave it a fair score equal to Blood Divided and Soul Born.

So, after all the writing, editing, pro editing, proofing, etc... the book ended up around 172,500 words. When it is released it will be the longest/largest book I have in print to date. I am proud of that. I wanted to prove I could write a long book.

Now to address some questions from emails.

At the moment I would love to have Dan Dos Santos do the cover for the third book as originally planned. But I am not sure if that will happen. I need to see where everything stands in the new year. Once I find out the publishing schedule and work out some other details I will be able to update everyone. I know the cover to Blood Divided is loved by the art and fantasy art world, and was nominated for many awards this year. It was very cool. I love that cover too.

Being the Art Director for the book series has been fun, and I'm glad to have met Dan. He and I will be friends forever. I really do hope we can collaborate again.

Will this be the last book? Yes. At least in the Soul Born Saga. If there are any future books with related characters written by me and published by Dark Quest Books, they would be in a separate series. That being said, I'm taking time to follow up on my two series that I have been showing to agents. I am hoping to have one of those unpublished books picked up in 2013.

Will there be anymore short stories in the Soul Born Saga world. Yes. I will write a new one in 2013, I promise. I'm also trying to put out a "History of" or timeline on this blog.

Will there be any more art? I hope so!

Release date for Flesh Ended? I am not sure. I am thinking Spring of 2013? But it might end up Summer. When I hear from the publisher I will let you know.

Also I would like to note. There will be a newly edited, new edition of SOUL BORN released in 2013.  I am still editing it, slowly, and will let you know when it is done and ready.
